Ok, people, read the update in the last post.  Put away the pitchforks and flaming torches.  I took the Skeletoes shoes back and exchanged them for normal people shoes.  2 pairs as a matter of fact.

I took my car in to get the oil changed.  I got a free oil change because Sun Devil Auto (In Ahwatukee, I10 and Ray Rd) replaced my windshield a few months back and they give out the free oil change vouchers.  They are in the same shopping center as JCPenney so while they were working, we walked over to JCP.  I got the new shoes and Than and I walked back to Sun Devil.

I noticed my car up on the wrack and some dude was taking my tires off my car.  FOR AN OIL CHANGE.  I said, (well…yelled) “HEY!  Can you please come here a minute?”  He came over and I calmly (so proud of me) asked, “Why are you taking the tires off of my car for an oil change?”  He smiled really big and said, “Oh when you come here with that voucher you get a full service deal for free.  We’re rotating your tires, checking all your belts/fluids/hoses, etc.”  Wow.  Not many places give such good customer service like that anymore.  Plus when they were done the guy inside went over everything with me and not once did he give the ol’ shyster routine where he says “your filter is about to burst” or “someone pressed the catastrophic gizmo and your car is about to die unless you pay us 10 gajillion dollars to repair it now.”  He just suggested that, due to mileage, I may want to replace a thing or to in the near future.  Nothing was wrong with these things now, just because I had 91k miles on my XL7 it was probably a good idea to keep that in mind.

So if you need your car worked on, go to Sun Devil Auto.  They’re all over the Phoenix Valley, but if you go to the one in Ahwatukee, tell Matt inside that “BadlyCrafted Jen” sent you.    I get no kickbacks for this.  Promise.  I just share the wealth when I find something good. Just ask my FaceBook friends who get 2434867waga34329 updates from me with deals.

Anyway, still not getting to the crafting part of this crafting blog yet, am I?  No, no I’m not.  Because my lovely assistant Vanna, er, THAN is not well today.  He’s been messing with his head between his eyes and in the sinus areas.  I couldn’t take it anymore and called the dr.

Get this:  From the phone call (I was in their area), to getting into the office, to getting script, out of office, down to CVS and out of CVS was all done in 50 minutes. FIFTY MINUTES PEOPLE.  It’s a world record.  I’m sure of it.

Poor Than has a very icky sinus infection.  And we’re due to go on vacation at the end of next week.  So I’m currently making him rest and dosing him with medicine.  He was just at the point of going downhill when I took him in.  My Mommy Senses were tingling. (take that Spiderman)…

So/Sew  I will be working on the bird in a little bit.  I may actually remember to take pictures as I do.  Oh trust me, they’ll be bad pictures, but hey, “badlycrafted”…..you know the drill.
